This year we were supposed to have Thanksgiving with my side of the family. So few of the families could show up so my parents decided it would be nice to have Thanksgiving at Chuck-O-Rama! We stayed the night at my parents house so that we could wake up early and run the Cold Turkey Trot up by the Capitol in Salt lake. The kids enjoyed their time with the Grandparents. My dad even read them a goodnight story:)
We began Thanksgiving at 2:OO p.m. Everyone else decided to have Thanksgiving at the same time.

Here is Evan with his two Grandmas Playing intsy winsey Spider! |
The Line at the restaurant stretched clear at the door. At first I was nervous to stand in line until I spoke with a woman who had done this for three years in a row. At this point it's not like you can go home and defrost a turkey anyway. It was nice talking the lady in line little did I know that she worked with my parents at the Temple until they arrived and filled me in. Along with us and my parents Mike and Bree Came and Their parents. I had currently got a new camera and so did Bree so we spent a while talking about that. In all we were waiting in line for about an hour and half.
Sammy spent some time trying to sign to a couple of kids through the glass in the doorway.
My Dad also showed us a picture of my Grandpa's Highschool Band that was hanging just inside the restaurant. He is on the top row in the center.

Look at Riley reading her Kindle she hardly ever lays that down. |
The Buffet was really good! Here are some of the few pictures of my family inside of Chuck-O-Rama enjoying the Thanksgiving meal.
After the good food at the restaurant. We went back to my parents house and enjoyed a night of talking and playing games. Look there is nothing to clean up! No dishes to do!! This was fun for one year next year though I think I want to do it the Traditional Way!!
